Reflection: Site Design

Some things that stood out to me during this week’s lesson about site design was that taking away distractions from a web page is very important. As users can easily be distracted by the slightest thing, they find unusual. If the color scheme does not go well it might drive some customers away. Depending on what colors you use you can influence your customer's emotions and encourage them to do what you want.

I learned having a white background is the best because it can keep users focused on the item which I know is the paramount reason why the site the page built. Cutting all or limiting distraction on a web page is very key to a successful business. I also learned that having a drop-drown on a site will helps give users more options to choose from.  Also including feedback section on my site would be important because I will give people the avenue to directly express their grievances and their displeasure and suggestions on how to satisfy them.
